Joe O'Callaghan - Head Coach
Joe joins us in 2024, after five years with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, where he held multiple roles, including Head of Elite Pathways & Player Development, Jersey Flegg Head Coach, NSW Cup Head Coach (leading the team to the 2023 NSW Cup and NRL State Championship titles), and most recently as NRL Assistant Coach.
With over 20 years of coaching experience across various levels, Joe’s career highlights include Assistant Coach for Ireland at the 2022 Rugby League World Cup, Queensland Cup Assistant Coach and Head Coach with the Northern Pride (winning the 2014 QLD Cup and NRL State Championship), and Head Coach for Queensland’s Under 15 and Under 18 teams, winning national titles in both 2018 and 2019.
In addition to his coaching credentials, Joe has over 12 years of service in the Queensland state education system, where he led rugby league programs at Marsden State High School.
