Our Baseball Program at The Hills Sports High School offers aspiring student-athletes a pathway of high performance, personal development and national opportunity. With our strong alignment with Baseball NSW and our local competition structure, students are supported from development through to elite representation.

Meet Our Head Coach – Nathan Wright
Nathan Wright brings a wealth of experience to our program, spanning decades of elite coaching and development roles across club, state and national platforms:
- Hitting Coach, Blacktown Workers State League, 2018–Present
- Head Coach, Quakers Hill Pirates (SWBL), 2008–Present
- President, Blacktown Workers Baseball Club, 2013-2017 & 2021-Present
- Hitting Coach, Baseball NSW High Performance, 2016-2020
- NSW U18 Head Coach, 2018-2019
- 3rd Base Coach/Hitting Coach, Sydney Blue Sox (ABL), 2014/15–2016/17
- Player, Australian Baseball League, 1994–1996
Nathan’s coaching philosophy emphasises the full student-athlete: mastering the technical, leading the mental, balancing the academic, and thriving in competition. He is committed to creating upward mobility for students and embedding values of discipline, teamwork and excellence in every athlete he coaches.
