Studying at The Hills Sports High School
The Hills Sports High School is pleased to accept applications from overseas students seeking to study in an Australian high school. Our International Student Program provides the opportunity for students holding a student visa to immerse themselves in a supportive and inclusive school culture, benefit from high-quality teaching and learning, enhance their English language proficiency, and experience the unique Australian lifestyle.
Our international students have gone on to achieve excellent results in the Higher School Certificate (HSC), with many gaining outstanding ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) scores. In previous years, students have been recognised for top performance, including first-place achievements in HSC language subjects.
Application Process
Students can apply to complete their secondary education in a NSW government school or undertake up to two years of study at the primary level. It is recommended that students apply through a DE International-registered education agent who can assist with preparing the necessary documents and guide you through the visa application process.
All applications for international students must be submitted through the NSW Department of Education – DE International.

Enrolment Process
Expression of Interest – Contact our school office to register your interest. Complete and submit the application form with all required documents. Please note that submission does not guarantee enrolment.
School Visit – We encourage families to arrange a visit to learn more about our school and community.
Interview – A parent or carer will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal.
Offer – You will be informed after the interview whether a place has been offered or if the application has been unsuccessful.
Acceptance – A student's place is confirmed once the enrolment process is finalised, including the submission of all supporting documents, payment of fees, and purchase of the school uniform.
Welcome – Prior to starting, you will receive all the necessary information to ensure a smooth and successful transition into life at The Hills Sports High School.
