Changes to Administration, Excursions and Student Statements

Addition of School Bytes system to the school

The Hills Sports High School is introducing a new method for bulk communication, consent forms and sending out statements of accounts called  “ School Bytes “. This new platform will make it easier for parents and caregivers to sign permission notes, receive timely information from the school and also pay family accounts.

School Bytes offers functions that have previously not been available such as bulk communication to the whole school or specific groups such as years, roll call classes or targeted events i.e. sport or excursions.

Parents and caregivers will receive electronic permission notes which can be digitally signed and automatically returned to the school. No more paper permission notes unless you specifically require one.

We are introducing electronic invoicing which will mean parents will be able to click on the link attached to the statement and pay directly, view statements and see how and where payments are made. It also includes the function of applying unallocated fees should your account be in credit.

What does this mean for Parents and Guardians?

Any changes to family or student details regarding contacts, healthcare or other information should be sent in writing to the school (either by email or written note from a parent or care giver).

School bytes does not have an app; you do not need to do anything to sign up or register, all communications will be sent to the email addresses we have on our system.

Please monitor your email account for communication from the school and ensure you keep your contact details up to date with the school if they change.

School Bytes also has parent guides to assist with accessing School Bytes, adding School Bytes to your email account, completing online permission notes and other guides.

Should you require any further assistance on School Bytes please contact the office 9622 7300 or email:
